Hiatus
Tuesday, 4/29/03: Last week was my doctor-free week. By about Tuesday, I was feeling pretty much like my old self. By Wednesday, I was done with the Hodgkins-related diet restrictions. Salad never tasted so good. Over the weekend, Mike, Emmy, and I went to the Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival (Ben was with a friend), and I ate whatever I wanted, walked around in the crowd, etc. I’ve even been doing some (very wimpy) exercise - mostly walking around the neighborhood.
Today was yet another visit to Stanford for follow-up tests: a blood test, a chest x-ray, and a CT scan. All but the chest x-ray meant holes poked in me, but luckily the CT machine at Stanford didn’t require drinking the weird pina colada stuff. It talked to me in a deep voice like the one at Camino Medical Group, though.
My first official appointment with the radiation oncologist is on Monday, and hopefully I’ll start radiation by the end of next week.
Saturday, 5/3/03: I think I’m just a little bored. Here’s today’s achievement.
